What This Guide Covers
Brakto's MLP format is ideal for recurring pickleball leagues — e.g., 2–2.5 months, weekly sessions across multiple courts and clubs, with a fixed entry fee and flexible week-by-week participation.
Typical League Setup Example
• 2 courts rented for 2 hours, 3 clubs (2 days each), $40/hr
• $100 entry fee per player — includes 4 sign-up dates per month
• Players can sub other dates for free
• Players get notified when open slots appear (2 days before or on cancellation)

Create the League Tournament
Go to Dashboard → Create Tournament and choose Pickleball as the sport.
Set the tournament name (e.g., Cross Club MLP Spring Season 2026), start/end dates, and entry fee.
Under Format, select Pool Play. You'll configure each pool as a division.
Create a Division with format set to MLP Team Format. Set team size (e.g., 10 = 5M + 5F).
Enable Registration so players can sign up and pay online through Brakto.
Tip: Set the entry fee to $100 and configure it so each player gets 4 included sign-up slots per month. Additional subs can be set as free.

Build Teams & Rosters
Go to Admin → Roster for your division.
Create teams (e.g., PickleRage 1, PickleRage 2, Bounce). Each team needs 4–10 players.
Drag players into teams. The roster manager enforces gender balance (M/F columns).
Assign each team to a Club (for multi-club leagues, e.g., Club A, Club B, Club C).
Set team seeds to control matchup order. Export roster PDF when done.
Players added via registration will appear in the unassigned pool — drag them onto teams from there.

Generate the Weekly Schedule
Go to Admin → Schedule Generator.
Choose the day of the week (e.g., Thursday), start time (e.g., 8:00 PM), and first match date.
Brakto auto-generates a round-robin schedule — every team plays every other team once.
For multi-club sessions, set per-week locations so Week 1 = Club A, Week 2 = Club B, etc.
You can regenerate the schedule at any time — existing lineups and scores are preserved.
Each week's location and time is shown on the player-facing schedule so players know where to show up.

Manage Each Week
Set Lineups
Before each match, go to Lineup for that week. Assign players to each of the 8 MLP events (MD1, MD2, WD1, WD2, MX1–4) using gender-filtered dropdowns. Save lineups — players can view them on their schedule.
Enter Scores
After each event, enter scores on the Score Entry page. Brakto auto-calculates event winners, match winner, and updates the league standings. Use PIN mode to let players enter their own scores without admin access.
Slot Notifications
Players who subscribe to a week (via the bell icon on their schedule) are automatically emailed when a slot opens up — either because someone cancelled or a spot became available. No manual action needed from you.
Entry Fees & Payments
Brakto supports Stripe-connected payment collection at registration:
Set a registration fee players pay when they sign up (e.g., $100 season fee).
Connect your Stripe account to receive payments directly.
View all registrations and payment status from Admin → Registrations.
