Switching guides

Tournament software alternatives

If you are weighing up a move away from your current platform, start here. Each guide covers why organizers switch, how to migrate your events, and the cases where staying put is the right call — we say so when it is.

Pick your current platform

Each guide states where your platform is genuinely the better choice, so you can make the call with the trade-offs in front of you.

Signs it is worth switching at all
  • You are rebuilding the same setup every week instead of reusing a template
  • Scheduling and court assignment are still done by hand
  • Registration, payments and scoring live in three different tools
  • Your platform only covers one sport, and you run more than one
  • You need a format it does not support — pool play into flighted playoffs, Swiss, or a rotation league
  • Per-tournament pricing is growing faster than your events are

If none of these apply, you probably do not need to switch — and we would rather say so than sell you a migration you do not need.
