Yes. On a public club, people can join from the club page. If auto-approve is off they land as Pending, and an owner or club admin approves or rejects the request from the club admin console → Members. A private club is invite-only.
Yes. In the club admin console → Members, open Add / Import Members and choose the Import CSV / Excel tab. The file needs a Name column (Email and Rating are optional) and can include a Role column — Member, Tournament Director or Admin. Each row is reported as added, skipped or errored.
Yes. Events created from a club can be set as members-only, so only signed-in members with an active membership (plus club owners, admins and tournament admins) can view or register. Members-only events stay off /events, search and sitemaps. Uncheck members-only to host a public event for your club.
