Detailed View (default) is the full Manage Players table: search, filters, payment actions, partner edits, notes, and row actions.

Simple View shows the same Division & Team List as Export Excel / PDF — divisions in two columns with team lines like Name Paid (Cash) – Partner Paid (Online), plus Players Needing Partners at the bottom. Active players only; staff are hidden.

Use Simple View to scan pairings quickly; switch back to Detailed View to edit partners, mark paid, or follow up on unpaid players.

Manage Players lists people (registrations). Named teams with no roster yet are not people, so the table stays empty — but the empty state explains how many teams are waiting and links to Add Player or Manage divisions.

For Club Dual: Admin → Manage divisions. If a division has no teams yet, use Add teams (capped at 2 for a fixture; raise Maximum Teams for a season). If teams already exist (awaiting roster), use Add players — on Add Player, pick the team (not a doubles partner). These are team names for the dual — not Brakto Clubs at /clubs.

The public Teams tab lists named teams as awaiting roster until players are attached.

In the Admin: Players & Teams header, use View Roster Summary for counts and follow-up details, Export to Excel for the full roster spreadsheet, or ⋮ → Analyze payments / Todo list for unpaid follow-ups. On the Detailed View roster table, click Why unpaid? under any unpaid player for a plain-language explanation, how to contact them (player email/phone, partner or paid teammate, or hints from team/payment notes), and a next step.

Need payment / todo lists keep unpaid doubles partners on consecutive rows so you can review the pair without scanning the whole list.

Click paid / Online / Cash / need payment / need partner in the Summary line, or open Filters for the same follow-up options plus notes and roster status. For bulk pairing, use Move Players. Use Simple View to see the pairing-sheet layout without filters.

Open Why unpaid? on their row. The How to contact section lists usable options: their phone (if on file), a partner or paid teammate’s email/phone, emails/phones found in payment or team notes, and partners from their other divisions.

When the player email is missing, a placeholder, or looks fake, Why unpaid also suggests contacting the partner. Paid teammates are often the registrant who knows how to reach them. If nothing is on the roster, check Financial Report / Stripe for a receipt email, or ask at check-in.

Use Add Player → choose No partner (default for doubles/mixed). They appear under the Needs partner filter.

Avoid typing TBD or placeholder names — that creates a fake unpaid player. Leave them unpaired until a real partner is ready.

In the Partner column, open the combobox and pick another player, or choose No partner. You’ll get a confirmation before the change is saved.

For multi-division players, partner is per division — change the partner on that division’s row.

To remove the old partner from the division after a sub: Actions → Manage divisions → Remove division (or Withdraw if you need refund history). Prefer changing partner on the existing row over Add Player, which can create duplicates.

For bulk moves/pairs across divisions, open Move Players (next to Add Player). Keep refunds, withdraw, and payments on Manage Players.

Usually nothing — if the registering player paid for both, that name on the team is enough. They do not need their own Brakto account.

Only if the name is wrong or they no longer have that partner: open Actions (⋯) → Remove partner name. That unpairs them so they show under Needs partner.

Prefer leaving partner empty (No partner) when they do not know who yet, instead of typing TBD.

The Team label can get out of sync with real members (e.g. after a partner change). You’ll see an amber warning on the Team column.

Use Actions → Fix team name to match members, or rename the team with the edit control.

One person can appear in several divisions (separate rows). Payment, partner, and team are per division.

On a multi-division row, use Remove from this division under the division name (with confirmation), or Actions → Manage divisions → Remove. Withdraw can target one division or all when you need refund history.

On Manage Players, open Actions (⋯) → Mark as non-scoring (or Restore to scoring). Confirm in the dialog. Multi-division players: pick which division’s team. The Team column shows a Non-scoring badge.

You can also do this from pool standings under the team name. Matches involving that team no longer count toward standings for anyone. They stay on the roster and can still play, but cannot advance to playoffs or medals.

Withdraw keeps the roster record as withdrawn (good for refunds and history). You can choose one division or all.

Remove from this division (on multi-division rows) or Manage divisions → Remove deletes that registration — use when they are dropping that event (e.g. no partner) and you do not need a withdrawn record.

If they come back: use the Restore player link next to Withdrawn on the row (or Actions → Restore). Confirm in the dialog to clear the withdrawn state. Refund history stays — use Update Status / Mark as Paid after they pay again, and re-set partner if needed.

Actions → Refund payment. For Stripe card payments you can Issue Stripe refund (money returns from your connected Stripe account). Offline payments: return money yourself, then Mark as refunded.

If a teammate paid for both, refund from the payer’s row. If each paid separately, refund each row. Partial refunds stay marked Paid with a partial status until the charge is fully refunded.

Multi-division: refund each paid division if they had separate charges. After Withdraw, an amber banner continues the refund checklist.

Actions → Merge into another player… Pick the record to keep. Registrations, team spots, and payments move onto that player.

Use when the same person registered twice (two emails) or a placeholder should become the real account.

Excel, CSV, and PDF are a Division & Team List — the same shape as Simple View and a pairing sheet. Divisions are grouped (Men’s, then Women’s, then Mixed), each with a player count. Complete teams are one line: Name Paid (Cash) – Partner Paid (Online). Empty divisions show No Players. The PDF includes the Brakto logo and a QR code to the tournament page.

Players still looking for a partner are listed at the bottom, not mixed into the team lines. Withdrawn players and staff admins are left out.

To include withdrawn players, switch to Detailed View, set the roster filter to All players or Withdrawn, then use Actions → Export CSV if you need a full dump for records.

On Manage Players, use the Note column (Add note / Edit note). The roster shows the reason badge (for example Partner issue) but not the free-text note — open Edit note to read or change the detail. Pick a reason — Eligibility, Partner issue, Wrong division, Injury, Needs follow-up, or Other — or choose Just a note and type the detail.

To outline a row, click the circle next to the player name. Circles with a four-color ring (red, blue, amber, green) have no highlight yet — pick a color to outline the circle and tint the letter, and outline the row, or None to clear that player. Use Hide highlights / Show highlights to temporarily turn row outlines off without deleting them.

Needs partner stays automatic for unpaired doubles/mixed players — No partner appears in dark red in the Partner column. Notes are extra context, like “too young for 50+” or “partner dropped, finding a replacement.” Open Filters → Note for Any note, or pick a reason such as Eligibility or Partner issue.

Admins always have Needs partner under Filters on this page.

Optional public list: Event Settings → Public Looking-for-Partner List. That publishes unpaired doubles/mixed names at /looking-for-partner (names only).

Payment is per division — use Update Status in the Payment column or Actions → Update Status / Mark as Unpaid. When marking paid, pick how they paid (Cash, Check, Venmo, Zelle, Online, or Other).

The Payment column shows ✓ Paid plus a mode badge (Online, Cash, Check, etc.). For card/online payments with a Stripe charge, click the Online badge to open that transaction in the Stripe Dashboard. Click Online / Cash / … counts in the Summary line to filter by how they paid.

Unpaid players show their name in dark red. Unpaired doubles/mixed show No partner in dark red in the Partner column — the row itself is not shaded. If their partner is also unpaid, that partner name is dark red in the Partner column on the same row.

Check In / Check Out and Set Seed Number are under Actions. Seeding is per division when they play more than one.
