Use multiple playoff brackets when teams should advance into separate brackets based on where they finish in their pool — not into one combined championship bracket.
Setup
Open Division Settings → Pool Play → Advancement to Playoffs.
Enable Multiple playoff brackets.
Add playoff brackets (or use presets: Equal brackets or Championship + Consolation).
Assign each pool finish position (1st, 2nd, 3rd…) to exactly one playoff bracket.
Save settings and complete pool play. Playoff brackets seed automatically when the last pool match is saved. Use Generate / Regenerate on the playoffs page as a backup if standings need a refresh.
Examples
8 pools of 3 → three brackets: 1st / 2nd / 3rd place (8 teams each)
4 pools of 3 → Championship (pool winners) + Consolation (2nd and 3rd per pool)
Wild card fill and playoff-loser consolation are disabled in this mode. Use an extra playoff bracket for lower placements instead.
