A Club vs Club fixture is a match between two clubs that plays several named doubles lines. The club that wins the most lines wins the fixture.
Use one Brakto division per competitive group (e.g. Ladies A, Mixed C, +55 B) — not one division per line. Lines live inside that division.
1. Create the event and choose the sport
Start a Tennis (or Pickleball / Badminton) event.
2. Add divisions per league and skill
One division per group — for example Mixed A, Mixed B, Ladies Majors, +55 C. Each division is its own Club Dual.
3. Pick the line template
In the division’s Club vs Club settings, choose a line template (see the table below), then rename any line to match your league.
4. Add the two opposing teams
Go to the event’s Admin tab → Manage divisions. On the division card (e.g. Ladies B) click Add teams twice — once for each side (e.g. “Banbury TC 1” and “Richmond Hill LTC 1”). These are team names for the dual, not Brakto Clubs at /clubs. If teams already exist, use Add players (or More → Manage teams & players).
5. Add player names to each team
Add players to the team, not to an individual line. Use Admin → Players/Teams (Add Player), or Import Players CSV for a bulk roster. Players attach to the team as roster members; the lines (Ladies, Mixed, Men’s, Open) are structural and decide who plays whom at scoring time.
6. Generate the fixture and score each line
Generate the fixture, then enter tennis set scores (or game scores) per line. The club winner updates automatically once enough lines are complete.
Brakto counts a team as “registered” on the public Teams tab only once it has at least one player. A Club Dual division with two named teams but no players yet still lists those names (marked awaiting roster) and shows them on bracket overview cards as “Team A vs Team B”. Division Management shows the honest counts: 0 players · 2 teams · awaiting roster.
Once you add at least one player to a team, its registered count updates. Use Admin → Manage divisions → Add teams when a division has no sides yet, or Add players when names are already saved. These are not Brakto Clubs at /clubs.
Pick the starter that matches your league, then rename any line.
Lines: Men’s Doubles, Ladies’ Doubles, Mixed 1, Mixed 2, Open 1, Open 2
Best for: Mixed club duals with six courts — two mixed and two open lines after the gendered doubles.
Winner: Even count. If lines split 3–3, the dual is decided by sets, then games.
Lines: Line 1, Line 2, Line 3, Line 4 (Line 1 is usually strongest)
Best for: Ladies’/women’s duals that rank courts 1 through 4 instead of naming the event type.
Winner: Even count. A 2–2 split is decided by sets, then games.
Lines: Line 1, Line 2, Line 3
Best for: Smaller ladies’/women’s duals, or any 3-court numbered lineup.
Winner: Odd count. Most lines wins (2–1 or 3–0).
Lines: Ladies’ Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles
Best for: Combined-gender duals with one court of each event (e.g. 55+ leagues).
Winner: Odd count. Most lines wins.
