MLP Team Format
Major League Pickleball team events, including DreamBreaker.
What it does
MLP is a team format rather than an individual one: rosters are balanced across gender, and each tie is decided by named events — womens doubles, mens doubles, mixed doubles and a DreamBreaker decider. Brakto models those events directly instead of forcing them into a generic bracket.
What you get
Configurable 4, 6, 8 or 10-player teams with balanced male/female composition.
Womens doubles, mens doubles, mixed doubles and DreamBreaker are first-class events.
The deciding event is modelled explicitly, not as an extra match.
Reuse roster and event presets across a league rather than rebuilding each week.
Pickleball clubs and leagues running MLP-style team competition.
Verifiable. Everything on this page ships today. It is implemented in MLPConfig, MLP_TEAM_FORMAT, roster balancing in the MLP team builder. If you find a gap between this page and the product, tell us and we will correct it.
