Mixer (Rotating Partners)
Doubles events where players change partners every round.
What it does
A mixer pairs players with a different partner each round, so nobody is stuck with the same team. Brakto generates the rotations, tracks individual scores across partner changes, and produces standings for players rather than teams.
What you get
Generate rounds so each player partners with someone new.
Points follow the player across partner changes, not a fixed team.
Set how many rotations the session runs.
Pair the qualifiers with a seed-based partner draft (the #1 seed picks first, then the next lowest unpicked seed, until everyone has a partner) or pair them manually, then cut them into a seeded doubles playoff. Pair seeds follow the pick order, and playoff games run to a higher target than the mixer rounds.
When a mixer runs as two groups, each group’s playoff champion meets the other group’s champion in a scored event final.
Social doubles events and club sessions where inclusivity matters more than brackets.
Verifiable. Everything on this page ships today. It is implemented in MixerConfig, MixerRound / MixerMatch / MixerStanding. If you find a gap between this page and the product, tell us and we will correct it.
