How much does Brakto tournament software cost?

Bracket Generator is always FREE with no signup, and live tournaments are FREE up to 8 players with offline/manual CSV import (up to 3 events per year; events must finish within 100 days) — or import a bigger roster by buying a capacity band ($29 up to 16, $99 up to 128, $349 up to 600). Online registration costs a one-time $25 setup, which opens registration, and each player pays a flat $2 service fee added to their entry fee — you keep 100% of every entry fee. Club is $999/year or $99/month for unlimited events at one location with no per-player service fee. Voting contests are FREE up to 8 entries, then a monthly subscription from $49/mo. Card processing 2.9% + $0.30 applies to online player payments.

What do players pay at registration?

Players pay the registration price you set, plus a Brakto service fee of $2 per player on Event. Club events have no per-player Brakto fee — players pay only your entry fee plus card processing. On Event, prefer to absorb the fee yourself? Turn on “I’ll cover the per-player service fee” in Fees settings and it comes out of your payout instead — Brakto still receives it, players just see the entry fee. Card processing 2.9% + $0.30 per successful charge also applies; you can cover it from your payout, or pass it to players in Fees settings.

Event whenever you want online registration — a one-time $25 setup, and players pay $2 each; no field-size band to pick for online. Club ($999/yr or $99/mo) if one venue runs many events a year — no setup fee, no per-player fee, and club tools. For voting contests, use Free (≤8 entries) or a monthly voting plan from $49/mo.

Does Club cover multiple locations or a franchise?

Club is licensed per physical location, so unlimited events apply to that one venue. Running more than one site? Add a Club subscription per location, or use Event plans for events at the other sites.

Do I have to pick a field size?

Not for online registration. Online Event has no field-size bands — you create the event without knowing the final count, and the $2/player service fee follows the players who actually enter; team sports just price by total roster spots (teams × players per team), the same per-player fee. If you register players outside Brakto and import them, those events are priced by capacity band instead — free up to 8 players, then $29 up to 16, $99 up to 128, $349 up to 600.
